Call the cops

Call the Cops..., formed in '04, is a class struggle punk rock band based out of Baltimore, Maryland.
Tess (vocals), Dan the Cannibal (vocals/harmonica), Pogo Tom (drums), Al (Bass), Nick (guitar) and newest addition in '07 Stevo (guitar). Original cast of Tom, Dan, Al and Brian for the beginning conception and first two songs quickly changed with the addition of members from Enemy Ancestor and Brian dropping the guitar for Nick to pick up. With aggressive male/female vocal exchange and a mix of different styles from the d-beat of Dis-charge to whimsical pogo styles of such bands as Civil Disobedience and Crass its no wonder the overall hygiene of the members fails to meet sanitary conditions necessary to play a gig that serves food or drinks.
CTC was greatly influenced by anarchist and peace punk bands from Europe including; toxic waste, conflict, post regiment, dan, wlochaty, etc... A greater influence yet, to quote CTC's webpage, "Life, working women and men worldwide, our brothers and sisters fighting for freedom in latin america and the third world, brave anti-fascist street fighters cleaning the scum out of their communities, immigrants fighting to be recognized as human beings, iraqis and americans losing their lives to fight a rich man's war, all of the downtrodden and spit-upon masses of the earth."
So far there has been two demo releases: The first was recorded at the Barclay house by Robbie the brain surgeon in early '05 using d.i.y. methods. The second was a studio recording by Derv in late '06 that never was mastered completely. In 2007 the release of both recordings will be available.
