Callahuaya language

Callahuaya language in its pure version is now extinct. Also known as Callawalla. It was once spoken in Bolivian highlands, especially in the region north of lago Titicaca. A currupt version known as Kollyawaya jargon is now spoken by a few (<10) people in Charazani area as a second language. All the speakers are ethnic Quechua and all are elderly men. Women and children don't use the language. The jargon is mostly Quechua with significant amounts of Callahuaya words. Callahuaya was closest to Puquina and then to Bolivian Quechua.
