Canada Goose (clothing)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Canada Goose (Full name: Canada Goose Expedition Clothing Outfitters) is a manufacturer of extreme cold weather outerwear.
Canada Goose has been manufacturing outerwear in Canada since 1957. The C.E.O. of Canada Goose is Dani Reiss, who is 32 years old. In 2006, Canada Goose made Profit magazine's list of the fastest growing apparel companies in Canada.
The jackets can be seen on the streets of New York City, Stockholm, Oslo, Milan, Toronto, Frankfurt and Tokyo as fashion. The expedition parka is standard issue for participants in the United States Antarctic Program.
[edit] Counterfeit Canada Goose Products
In many parts of Europe, Canada Goose jackets and parkas are considered expensive status symbols. As a result, many factories in East Asia, especially China and Thailand, produce counterfeit Canada Goose products. Especially in the fall and winter, the majority of Canada Goose parkas offered on ebay are probably counterfeit. The easiest way to tell whether a Canada Goose parka is fake is to hold it under running tap water. If the water quickly soaks through the outer shell, then the parka is fake. The outer shell of a genuine Canada Goose parka is water repellent.
