Canalside Community Radio is a Radio station situated in Bollington, North-West England. It was formed by ex-local DJ Nick Wright in 2005, and went on to broadcast for a month over Christmas 2005. CCR is a local community radio station run by volunteers. The station operates on a not-for-profit basis, and relies solely on support and donations from sponsors and grants.
The broadcast area is the Borough of Macclesfield - ie, Macclesfield, Bollington, Tytherington, Prestbury, Rainow, Sutton, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Poynton and surrounding towns, villages and hamlets.
