CandyBar is a software utility by Panic and The Iconfactory that can replace any system icon with an icon of the superuser's choosing in Mac OS X. The latest release of 2.5.1 supports all Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" icons. CandyBar supports a similar iContainer file format to that of Pixadex, however, CandyBar stores additional information in its iContainer files. The CandyBar format also stores information regarding which Mac OS X Finder item's icon is being replaced by each icon in the iContainer. In addition, while Pixadex can open iContainer files created by both Pixadex and CandyBar, the reverse is not true; CandyBar cannot open iContainer files created by Pixadex.
