Capilano College (colloquially known as Cap College) is a degree-granting post-secondary institution in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

[edit] Campuses
Capilano College has three campuses. The main campus is at 2055 Purcell Way in the District of North Vancouver, on Greater Vancouver's North Shore. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The majority of the programs are offered at this campus.
Capilano College also operates satellite campuses in Squamish and Sechelt, although only specialized programs are available at these locations.

Capilano College awards the following credentials in some of its programs: bachelor's degrees; associate degrees, diplomas, Post-Graduate Diplomas,certificates, citations, and statements of completion. Many of the college's university transfer students go on to attain degrees at University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.
Capilano College is unlike the other post secondary institutions in Vancouver. It does not specifically group its programs into faculties (e.g., Faculty of Arts) or schools (e.g., School of Nursing). The College rather assigns programs to broad program titles, which are:

The official intercollegiate representing team are the Capilano College Blues. The Blues only play out of Capilano College's North Vancouver campus and have their home court at the Sportsplex Building. Capilano College competes at the intercollegiate level in the following sports:

- Men's volleyball
- Women's basketball
- Women's soccer
- Women's volleyball
Since 1974, the Capilano College Blues has won 40 Provincial Titles, 9 National Titles, 8 Coach of the Year distinctions and 2 Aggregate Champions. Between 1974 and 1999 it held the title for Canadian College Athletic Association (CCAA) Soccer Supremacy Award.

- The Capilano Review is a tri-annually published magazine covering the arts, specifically the performing arts. It is distributed internationally in nine countries. Since its first publication in 1972 it has been recognized seven times for excellence by the National Magazine awards, three times by the Western Magazine awards, and once by the Journal Prize Awards. It has also earned a citation by the Canadian Studies Association. The Capilano Review is published by the Capilano Press Society.
- The main student newspaper of the College is The Capilano Courier. The Courier, which operates independently of the College and the Student Society, is staffed by student volunteers. It is published bi-weekly by the Capilano Press Society.
- Capilano's creative writing students publish an innovative literary magazine, "The Liar," in the Spring and Fall term, with funding from the English Dept.
[edit] British Columbia Centre for Leadership and Innovation in Tourism
On August 23, 2004, the BC government announced the establishment[1] of the BC Centre for Leadership and Innovation in Tourism at Capilano College's North Vancouver campus. The announcement came as part of the efforts of the government to capitalize on the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The Centre will address tourism issues and help provide tourism education.

The local student government is the Capilano Students' Union (CSU). The CSU is a member of the Canadian Federation of Students, Local 5.
