Captive Hearts is an episode of X-Men (TV series).
[edit] Summary
The episode begins with the X-Men training in the Danger Room. Wolverine is resting after the battle with Sabretooth and confronts his own strong feelings for Jean as well as his jealousy towards Cyclops. Cyclops and Jean go for a night out together. A mutant steals some fruits and a mob goes after her, in order to protect her Jean and Cyclops follow, however it was a trap by Morlocks. Morlocks are a band of underground-dwelling mutants. A Morlock woman hypnotizes them, putting them to sleep, and kidnaps them. Callisto the Morlocks' leader kidnapped Cyclops, so that he would rule the Morlocks beside Jean. Jean uses her Telepathic powers to tell the Professor that they have been captured. Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, and Storm go to search for them. The Morlocks attack the X-Men, but are quickly defeated. Then they finally find Jean. They then have a battle with the Morlocks to save Cyclops. The old lady does something to Gambit and he becomes sick, so Rogue takes him back to the X-Mansion. Storm challenges Callisto in a dual for Cyclops and the leadership of the Morlocks. They battle with swords similar in appearance to Lightsabers from Star Wars. After a brief battle Storm wins and becomes leader of Morlocks thus saving Cyclops. Storm offers the Morlocks to come with them to the X-Mansion, but they refuse due to the belief that they can't live with normal people. They say they'll come to the surface when humanity accepts mutants. She says that when that happens, she will come back to get them, and until then she gives back the Morlocks' leadership to Callisto. The X-Men then go back to the X-Mansion. At the end of the episode, Wolverine runs away and the episode ends with a "To Be Continued..."
