Carcraft

Carcraft is an independent group of used car hypermarkets established in 1951 in Rochdale, Lancashire, United Kingdom. Carcraft was founded by Frank McKee and was bought out by Noel and Darren McKee, his sons, in a £50m deal backed by the Royal Bank of Scotland's Development Capital arm.
In 1998 Carcraft paid £10m for a car supermarket from Car Group while Car Group was in receivership.
In December 2005 Carcraft became the first independent second-hand vehicle retailer [1] to create and found a contract hire car company.
The company has attracted considerable controversy due to the cost of both the finance and warranty packages it sells, an example is provided in the BBC program on its less than useful warranties.
Carcraft operate from seven locations around the UK.

Each of Carcraft's sites comprise an average 12-acre complex with a 100,000 square foot showroom displaying around 1,500.
