Cardiff Marathon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cardiff Marathon is an annual marathon race held in the Welsh city of Cardiff. The event is usually held in October and attracted over 1,270 participants in 2006 for the main marathon event. The event was established by Cardiff County Council and the South Wales Echo in 2002 to raise money for various charities. The 2005 marathon raised over £450,000 for 170 local charities including Barnardos.
It appears that only a half marathon will be run in 2007.
