Carl Tiler (born February 11, 1970) is a former English football player who had spells with Everton, Aston Villa and Charlton where he was a central defender.
He started his career at Barnsley where he spent 3 season in which he attracted top clubs interest and in 1991 he signed for Nottm Forest for £1.4million. His spell at Nottm Forest was unspectacular, rarely holding down a first team place and he was sent on loan to Swindon in the 1994 season. He played a total of 69 games for Nottm Forest most appearances coming from the subs bench before being sold to Aston Villa for £750,000. He would later play for several other clubs and would then retire at the age of 34.
