I am an avid Wikipedia reader with a Bachelor's degree in English and an eye for detail. While I have wide interests in my reading, most of my edits so far have been grammatical, punctuational, or small changes to help clarify the meanings of sentences, etc.
I'm a beginner with creating pages or using Talk pages, etc. Hopefully I will get more experienced as time goes on.
Thanks for your support!
amn't |
This user considers amn't a perfectly logical alternative to aren't in the singular. |
. . . as English isn't Latin, and shouldn't have to abide by its rules.
to / too
/ two |
Too many people have no idea how to use words they should have learned in grade two. |
who |
This user prefers using who for both the object and subject case. Who does it hurt to simplify things? |
their / there / they're |
This user knows that there, their, and they're are not the same word. |
You and Me |
This user thinks that if you believe it is incorrect to use "you and me" as the subject of a sentence, you and me need to have a little talk... |
A, B, and
A and B |
This user uses the serial comma unless its inclusion is confusing. |
its & it's |
This user understands the difference between its and it's. So should you. |
its/it's |
It's really not that hard to use each word in its proper manner. |
’s |
Thi's user know's that not every word that end's with s need's an apostrophe and will remove misused apostrophe's from Wikipedia with extreme prejudice. [sic] |
… |
This user is addicted to ellipses and has been known to use them indiscriminately…. |
Mix |
This user has been influenced by too many dialects of English to use one orthography, vocabulary and grammar consistently. |
 |
This user is evil, and frequently says mwhahaha!
