Castle Rock Park
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Castle Rock Park is a regional park part of the East Bay Regional Park District. The park lies in a scenic sandstone canyon close to Mount Diablo in the Diablo Foothills. The park is bordered by Mount Diablo State Park and Walnut Creek Open Space; together, these three parks provide 18,000 acres (72.8 square km) of parkland for visitors to enjoy.
Castle Rock Park should not be confused with Castle Rock state park, which is a state park located across the San Francisco Bay in the Santa Cruz mountains between Saratoga and Boulder Creek.
