[edit] Status of Caseosaurus
Hunt et. al. (1998) decided that a illium referred to Chindesaurus by Long and Murry (1995) should be considered a monospecific genus instead, which they named Caseosaurus. Langer (2004) placed Caseosaurus in synonymy with Chindesaurus without further comment, implying that the holotype of Caseosaurus is identical to Chindesaurus. For this reason, the Caseosaurus page should be merged with the Chindesaurus page.
