[edit] Metal merging
I did not understand fully your comments on the Heavy Metal page. Did you think it is best to merge Heavy Metal into the Metal article and make Heavy Metal a redirect to Metal (losing all historical context)? If that´s so, I think it´s nonsense! :-) But, that´s your opinion, you are still allowed to have an opinion (hope Bush descendents do not get too powerfull to prevent that!) By the way, I think you should read Roger Zelazny and David Brin. I bet you will not be let down by those authors! regards Loudenvier 20:39, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, my reasoning is that the term "Heavy metal" is rarely used anymore, people just call it "metal." But really, it doesn't matter which one is merged into which, as long as they're merged. :p
- I'll check those authors out when I have some free time (lately, there's been very little of that, heh). Thanks for the recommendations. Cassandra Leo 03:30, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Song of Ice and Fire titles
I noticed that twice now you've edited to say that A Time for Wolves is the title for the sixth book and The Winds of Winter the seventh. What's your source for that? I've never seen A Time for Wolves as anything other than the (tentative) title for the final book. It's variously been number six and number seven in the series, but I don't think it's ever preceded The Winds of Winter. Thanks. Brendan 02:26, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
- I'm sure I've seen The Winds of Winter listed as a tentative title for the final book somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now. Perhaps my memory was in error, or the source I got it from was in error. Cassandra Leo 20:44, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. The Winds of Winter was the final title for a while, but that was at a time when he wasn't planning to use A Time for Wolves at all. Now that the official estimate is seven books again, I think A Time for Wolves is back in the last slot. Brendan 00:28, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- The Winds of Winter was the final title for a while - Ah. That's probably the source of my confusion, then. Thanks for the clarification. Cassandra Leo 00:30, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Flamarande
Hi, I made a few userboxes about ASoIaF, you can see them at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Books and use them at your leisure. I am not finished yet, but eventually I am going to make boxes for all the Houses and perhaps some more ( Nightswatch, etc ). If you understand enough about userboxer you can even improve them. If not, then just "pass the word" about it (please). Flamarande 14:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
