Personally, as an Oil Rig Methodist, I believe that Cat Litter is pretty fucked up. In here.

[edit] Blue silica beads to indicate saturation
Others dislike that crystal litter gives them no warning when it is saturated. So the next cat to use the litter box will leave a urine puddle at the bottom of the pan. Crystal litter is extremely lightweight, especially when compared to heavier clay and clumping litter.
I just picked up some new cat litter. On the container it mentions that the litter should be replaced when the blue beads (probably 1-2% of the litter) fade in color. I'd like to add this to the article but need to find a citation first :). --Silvaran 20:45, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
