Celsus Library

The Library of Celsus is a monumental tomb for Gaius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, built by his son Gaius Julius Aquila in 135 in Ephesus, Asia Minor (Anatolia) (now Turkey). The grave of Celsus is beneath the ground floor, across the entrance. Later the building was used as a library.
