Central Ontario Hockey League

The Central Ontario Hockey League (C.O.H.L.) was a highly competitive amateur ice hockey league in the central Grey County area of Ontario, Canada from the 1920s until the late 1970s.
At one time, the league was divided into senior and junior loops. Participating clubs hailed from Barhead, Chatsworth, Dundalk, Durham, Feversham, Flesherton, Glenelg, Markdale, Meaford, Priceville, Rocklyn, Thornbury, Williamsford and a number of other local villages and hamlets. Popular team nicknames from the league were Barhead Blues, Dundalk Flyers, Flesherton Saints and Markdale Majors.
