[edit] Assessment
Hello all, and thank you for contributing to this school site. I'm part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Assessment team, and I'm reviewing this page. I'm currently giving it a grade of Start on the Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment Scale and an importance of mid on this importance scale. For information on improving this article, please visit the WikiProject Schools Project Page.
My reasoning is as follows: more pics required. very good start, nearly a B. Welcome Victuallers 13:52, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mitch
What's with the "In 1989, the ubiquitous Mitch won the coveted school spirit award"? Eitan1989 02:31, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- "Mitch" was an inside joke of sorts to a niche group of frisbee tossers circa 1988-89. Perhaps one of them considered it clever to send a coded message to their fellow clique members. I suppose high school mentality never ceases. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.242.173.236 (talk • contribs).
- Specifically, mainly members of the class of 248. Members included north lawn frisbee, memebers of debate team. As part of the school spirit award, the members of Mitch would sing the school song at home football games, after Central scored a touchdown, OR at home girl's field hockey games.

[edit] "All Central students take the SAT"
How is this known? Is the SAT a graduation requirement? As an aside, the reported combined average score is 1096- (63%)-seems low for an "elite" school? Masterman High reports a 1298 for 2005. Granted, Masterman is much smaller per grade level. Hillsboro 18:11, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Exactly, Masterman has comparatively 1/10th the class size. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.242.114.77 (talk) 18:33, 23 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Central's Student-Built Cyclotron
I just added a sentence about the cyclotron, which was up and running during my time at the school (1962-66). At the 25th Reunion of the 225th Class, they announced that the school had been given an electron microscope. Is that still in use? --Stolen Dormouse 17:33, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alumni
Doesn't alumni generally mean one who has graduated from? Although Bill Cosby was rewarded with an honorary degree, he was, in all terms, kicked out of Central. As was Will Smith and Cassidy. Why are these individuals considered alumni?
Hey Officer - Micun belongs here. It looks like you're going to be very busy. Why? Because he does some little play in some small dinner theatre in Bensalem, PA? That's notable... If David Micun were notable, please create David Micun wikipedia page with accomplishments, and link, like other notable alumni
