The Ceratopteris thalictroides (Indian Fern, Oriental Waterfern, Water Sprite, Water Hornfern) is a fern species belonging to the Parkeriaceae family. It grows naturally in the Pantropics, often to a height of 30 centimetres and sporting a width of 10-20 centimetres. It grows best in soil with a pH reading of 5-9 and in very high amounts of light. It usually grows at a very fast pace.
