Châteauguay, Quebec

Chateauguay is a city in southwestern Quebec, southwest of Montreal located both on the Chateauguay River and Lac St-Louis, which is a section of the St. Lawrence River. As of the 2005 census the total population of the city was 41,023.
The city's local newspaper is the 'Le Soleil' (The Sun). As of 2003, the current mayor of Chateauguay is Sergio Pavone.
