[edit] Organization
A president heads the university, which is divided into the following colleges:
- College of Management
- College of Public Health
- Division of Continuing Education and Professional Development
In addition, the International Chinese Language Program (ICLP), formerly known as the Stanford Center and the Inter-University Program, and considered one of the world's premiere programs for instruction in formal Chinese is located at National Taiwan University.
Each college is further subdivided into a number of departments and graduate institutes. Most departments have their own buildings and are autonomous in setting up study programs, appointing faculty and accepting graduate students.
A part of the governing body of the University is also the student union where representatives from each college are elected every year.
