Charity fraud

Charity fraud is the act of using deception to get money from people who are making donations to charities.
Some suggestions to help prevent charity fraud (and avoid being a supportive victim):
- research any the charity, in particular, making sure they are registered
- avoid giving donating to any group you are suspicious of
