Charles D. Baker, Jr.

Charles "Charlie" D. Baker, Jr. (Born 1957) is President and CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care based out of Boston, Massachusetts. He was formely an advisor to Governor William Weld during the 1990's. It was rumored that Baker was thinking about challenging then-Lt. Governor Kerry Healey for the Republican nomination for the 2006 Gubernatorial election in Massachusetts, he ultimatly decided against such a run. However, he has stated that he might consider a run sometime in the future, which has led many to believe, he might challenge Governor Deval Patrick in the 2010 contest.
Charlie Baker lives in Needham, Massachusetts with his wife Lauren, and their three children.
