Charles Derry

Charles [Dennis] Derry, born 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, is an American writer and aesthetician of film genres, notably of the horror film of the late Twentieth Century and of the suspence thriller film. As a professor of film at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio (USA), his work has included writing, directing and producing two short films (Cerebral Accident and Joan Crawford Died For Your Sins), directing three staged plays (The Hemingway Play, The Laramie Project, and portions of America Hurrah), and publishing several short stories.
