Charles Noland is an actor with a recurring role on The West Wing as a White House correspondent. He appeared in numerous episodes including "Angel Maintenance."
His character, Steve, is one of the more familiar members of the press corps. Toward the end of the series, he visited C. J. Cregg to say goodbye before the Bartlet Administration leaves the White House.
His character appears to be one of the more good natured members of the press corps. In "Angel Maintenance", when C. J. was feeling overwhelmed by the conflicting emotions she felt after having to isolate the press corp to prevent news leaking out of Air Force One's landing gear problems, he was the first to comfort her by saying "Thanks C. J.", leaving her feeling a lot better.
He has also appeared in the films Dirty Deeds, Old School and Bubble Boy.
He also had a recurring role on ER as the desk man named E-Ray.
