Charlie Athersmith

Charlie Athersmith (born 10 May 1872 in Bloxwich, Staffordshire, England) was an English professional footballer.
He played the majority of his career at Aston Villa, making just over 300 appearances and scoring 86 goals. He was part of Villa's Double winning team of the 1896/1897 season and played for the team in three FA Cup Finals.
Athersmith represented England at outside right on 12 occasions, scoring three times for his country.
