Charlie Croker is a fictional character in the movie The Italian Job. The role was played by Michael Caine in the 1969 movie, and by Mark Wahlberg in the 2003 remake. In both movies, Croker led a group of thieves to steal a truck full of gold.
In the 1969 movie, they were stealing the gold in Turin and had 3 classic Minis to help them escape.
In the 2003 movie, they were stealing the gold back from doubling-crossing Steve (Edward Norton), and they had 3 BMW MINI Coopers to help them escape.
