Charlie Puleo

Charles Michael Puleo (born February 7, 1955 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1981 to 1989 for the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves. Puleo is probably best remembered for being the pitcher the Mets traded in order to reacquire Tom Seaver before the 1983 season.
Puleo is currently the Head Coach of William Blount High School, in Maryville, TN. Puleo is married and is the father of two girls.
