Charu is a sweet porridge-like foodstuff offered as ahuti (offering) in Yajnas. It means one who is soft and graceful,often used in the Ramayana for praising Lord Ram .It is used in a popular poem to describe the beauty of the moon-Charu chandra ki chanchal kirne. Charu is a popular name given to Hindu Females and it means good looking Charul is charming and sweet
