You could turn the furniture part into an encyclopedia. You know - the history and development of the chair, various styles -Windsor, ladderback, caned, wicker, leather, recliners, thrones, the socioeconomics of chairs, etc. Rmhermen 00:40 8 Jul 2003 (UTC)

How about other uses for chairs? Step-stools and substitute tables even though they aren't designed for that. But I don't think it's important enough....--Macrowiz 01:00, 10 July 2005 (UTC)

are there just thousands of people around the world with too much time on their hand? who would sit down (pardon the pun) and write a Wikipedia article on chairs. i mean, i appreciate it, but i can't imagine why anyone would write about the topic of chairs. im really just curious here, are you people actually interested in chairs as a general topic? like do u collect chairs from different eras and go to chair conventions and dress up as your favourite chair?

The "Massachusetts bus" picture is really bad. You can barely see the benches in the actual picture and serves to show nothing but a bus stop with some unusual benches.
