My Dad, and all six of his siblings, grew up here from the 40's until the 80's. I spent many a night, weekend, etc. on Friar's street and the park. It was super small, and "rural" compared to my home of Joliet, but it was a nice escape. And the fishing was great all my life! I miss those easy-going days of my youth. The town has really changed. I was shocked by the average median income! Man, it was different in the 70's and 80's!
