Talk:Charles Atlas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page really should be at Charles Atlas. This guy is always called that, and is much more well-known than the other uses, which don't even have articles. A disambig header will go at the top, of course. -R. fiend 01:26, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. violet/riga (t) 18:01, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Are the circled R's really necessary? I haven't seen them in any other article, and I don't see how this situation is unique. -R. fiend 20:48, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Does anyone have any sources for the stories and informatio cited in this article?--Gary123 03:49, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Sources...
The sources for this article can be researched on Google. (And that is another reason why I cut out the bit about Atlas dying of a heart attack while jogging on the beach--I didn't find THAT particular article ANYWHERE!)
...However, I DID hear something elese, namely this: I heard that a train derailed and Atlas was on it. So, he decided to try and lift the train back onto the rails. He ended up getting a brain hemmorage--which would cause an heart attack.
...And well, probably Atlas Ltd. wouldn't put up with that--so they fibbed to everybody and told them that he died on the beach while jogging--which honestly, doesn't make much sense to me in the first place.

[edit] what should be in the article
i think they should give more background on the workout, does it work? scientist should testit.is any one willing to do this?
[edit] Yea it works...
I've used the Atlas Course in the past. It works. It has a lot of copy write on it, so it is doubtful you'll see it on the web... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 198.60.195.11 (talk) 13:37, 19 March 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Unless
You go to www.charlesatlas.com which is the company's official website, the course is still sold there.
