Hello, and welcome!

I'm a newbie at WP - if you edit something I've done in a major way (such as deleting significant pieces of it) please tell me why...I need to learn. Major edits without at least some constructive critisism will not be respected.

I'm an occassional user of WP, as I see it as a forum that others can easily find and search through, and thus it's a forum where I can be heard. During the day I'm a Patent attorney for a big software company, and yes, I do think that Software patents are proper, just like a patent on some new physical gadget.

I live in the Silicon Valley, located in Northern California.
