[edit] Music video
The Cheetah Girls did not shoot a video for the single because the song was from their movie The Cheetah Girls and was used to promote the movie. Because of that, the video for the song features clips from the movie and the girls dancing and singing in the streets on Manhattan and outside of their school Manhattan Magnet. which is also a clip from the movie/musical. It premiered on June 29, 2004 on Disney Channel.

[edit] Trivia
- The Cheetah Girls took almost 1 year to relase a new single from the album that had been released that last year. The reason for this was that The Cheetah Girls did not plan to relase Cheetah Sisters as a single. They planned for Girl Power to be their final single from The Cheetah Girls but Disney wanted to release The Cheetah Girls onto DVD and wanted a new single for its release in June of 2004. With no time to record a new album or even a new single they decided to release Cheetah Sisters.
- On the pop-up edition of The Cheetah Girls 2 it incorectly labeled this song as We Are Sisters.
- In the sequel, The Cheetah Girls 2, the song is remixed with a Barcelona mix. However, the song is not featured in the movie, and it is unknown whether the rest of the cast does sing along with the Cheetah Girls.
