Chicago Sports Review
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Chicago Sports Review is a weekly magazine serving the Chicago region. Published independently as a monthly magazine for nearly four years, the magazine reached a new publishing agreement in January of 2007, and has since expanded to a weekly publication.
The magazine has built a reputation for eclectic tastes, publishing articles that delve into issues of race, sociology, politics, law, crime and economics in the sporting world. The magazine features writers and reporters not exclusive to Chicago, and the stories are also not exclusively on Chicago sports subjects. The magazine was founded in 2003, by publisher Tom Alexander, who still sits on the publishing board. The current editor of the magazine is Chris Sprow.
The magazine maintains a web-site at www.chisport.com.
