Chinmayi

Chinmayi/Chinmayee is an Indian playback singer. She made her singing debut in A. R. Rahman's Kannathil Muthamittal and since then has sung songs mostly in Tamil films like Ennaku 20 Unnaku 18, Boys, Arinthum Ariyamalum and Sandakozhi. Her most recent songs to date is from the recently released Hindi album, Guru, which has been composed by A.R. Rahman and the Tamil movie Veyil, which has been composed by G V Prakash, A R Rahman's nephew and Kannum Kannum, set to music by Dhina, and Sahana, a duet with Udit Narayan in Sivaji-The Boss.
She also presented the first season of Super Singer on Star Vijay TV that was aired between April 2006 and August 2006. She is back to host on the revamped Airtel Super Singer Junior.
She is also a Radio presenter on Aahaa FM 91.9 in Chennai, on a show titled 'Namma Ooru Angels', on air Monday to Friday between 12-3 in the afternoon.
She has dubbed for two movies, Sillunu Oru Kadhal (For Bhoomika) and Unnale Unnale (for Tanisha)
