Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway

The Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway is a heritage railway located to the east of Oxford, England. It operates on standard gauge for a distance of 3.5 miles between Chinnor and the outskirts of Princes Risborough. An extension into Princes Risborough mainline railway station is currently under construction. This will allow connection with Chiltern Railways services on the Chiltern Main Line. This line forms part of the old Great Western Railway line between Watlington and Princes Risborough (via Lewknor,Aston Rowant and Chinnor) which was closed to passengers by BR in 1957. The section between Chinnor and Princes Risborough then carried freight only until 1990.
