Chipolata

A chipolata is a type of small thin sausage from the United Kingdom. Chipolatas are normally made from coarse-ground pork seasoned with salt and pepper together with such herbs — according to the particular recipe — as sage, thyme, pimento, and/or nutmeg. The name is derived from the Italian word cipolla, meaning "onion".
