The Article on the Shaanxi Y-8 claims that the accident June 3 2006 accident in China was a KJ-200 AWACS, based on the Y-8 airframe. The IL-76 article claims the same accident was a IL-76 based KJ-2000. It cannot be both.Hudicourt 16:23, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- The Japanese wikipedia article points out the possiblity that it was not a known type of KJ-200 AWACS, but one with a new experimental type of rotor-dome radar that crashed. It would have looked like a larger version of E-2C.--Revth 08:11, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
