Choeropsis liberiensis |
Choeropsis is a genus of pygmy hippopotamuses.
There are two known species, one of which is extinct:
- Pygmy Hippopotamus — Choeropsis liberiensis
- Madagascar Pygmy Hippopotamus — Choeropsis madagascariensis †
Some researchers consider Pygmy Hippos to be a member of the genus Hexaprotodon.
