Performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Vanessa Mae’s Choreography features work by Vangelis, Bill Whelan, AR Rahman, Tolga Kashif and Walter Taieb. Emerald Tiger is a composition by Riverdance's Bill Whelan, a sort of Irish/Asian fusion. Raga's Dance by Bollywood's AR Rahman is a fun and exciting piece mixing Indian instruments and vocals to a large symphonic orchestration. Bolero For Violin And Orchestra is a tribute to Ravel's Bolero, using a Darbuka. Tribal Gathering is a minimalist composition in the vain of John Adams but with a live afro percussion rhythm beneath. Bolero For Violin And Orchestra, Tango De Los Exilados and Tribal Gathering were composed by the young and brilliant European composer Walter Taieb (The Alchemist's Symphony).
