Choshi Electric Railway Line
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chōshi Electric Railway Line (銚子電気鉄道線 Chōshi Denki Tetsudō-sen?) is a railway line operated by Chōshi Electric Railway, between Chōshi Station and Tokawa, all within Chōshi City, Chiba Prefecture.
The operator only owns this short line with its declining ridership. The company, however, ventured into a subsidiary business from ten years ago, and now famous as a confectionery maker, especially senbei (rice crackers). In fact, now the profit from the sales of confectionery is twice bigger than that from the railway. [1]
