Chris Bootcheck

Christopher Brandon ("Chris") Bootcheck (b. October 24, 1978 in LaPorte, Indiana) is a pitcher splitting time between the minor leagues and Major League Baseball for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He made his MLB debut with the then-Anaheim Angels on September 9, 2003.
On May 2, 2006, Bootcheck was hurt while running from the bullpen to the mound during the Angels' brawl with the Oakland Athletics. He was placed on the DL with a hamstring injury and missed most of the season. He was designated for assignment in January 2007.
