Christopher Cester (born 1981) is the drummer and backing vocalist from Australian rock band Jet. His brother is Nic Cester, the band's lead singer.
Chris and Nic grew up in Melbourne, Australia, listening to the classic music their parents liked, such as The Beatles' Abbey Road was their favourite album. When the Cester brothers used to play pretend gigs in their living room, Chris was the singer, but he eventually changed to drums, pretending to play while Nic sang. The boys formed a band with Cameron Muncey on guitar and backing vocals, and Mark Wilson on bass. The band was named after the song "Jet" by former Beatle Paul McCartney and his band, Wings. Chris currently lives in L.A. with his girlfreind, Alexi Wasse.
