[edit] SmackDown! career
Kay has yet to be knocked-out or included in a storyline despite hints at a possible feud with the then-new Finlay who Kay disqualified two weeks in a row for refusing to break a hold on Matt Hardy after a five-count the first week (January 20, 2006) and reversing a win the second week (January 27, 2006) after Finlay continued to beat on Funaki despite winning the match. This was possibly dropped in favor of the Finlay-Lashley feud. Commentators stated that Kay showed displeasure at drawing a Finlay match the second week. Despite this Kay has not shown any bias in Finlay's matches.
