Chris Millar (born 30 March 1983 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer. He is currently playing for Greenock Morton in the Scottish Second Division.
Millar plays in the centre of midfield for Greenock Morton. In his first few seasons he was played on the right-hand side of midfield. He is a hard working midfielder who can run all day. He is also a very technically gifted midfielder who likes to get ahead of his attackers and score goals. This was most evident in season 2004/05 when Millar scored 11 goals.
Although he was born in Glasgow Millar is a local lad, he was raised in Port Glasgow. This may have had a crucial bearing on his decision to sign for Morton on 18 February 2003 after his release from Celtic. Millar made his Morton debut away at Montrose on 25 February 2003; a game ian immediate impact. He went on to play an important part in Morton's Scottish Third Division Championship winning team that season (2002/03).
At Celtic he considered current Scotland International Shaun Maloney a personal friend.
