Chris Sanderson is an assistant coach for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League. Sanderson is also a retired player, having played for parts of five seasons as a goaltender.
Chris is a member of the famous Sanderson family of Orangeville, Ontario. He is the cousin of current NLL players Josh Sanderson and Phil Sanderson, and is the nephew of both Wings head coach and GM Lindsay Sanderson and former NLL coach Terry Sanderson.
Sanderson led the University of Virginia Cavaliers to two NCAA Final Four's. He has played in numerous world championships with the Canadian National Team, and has coached the U-19 Canadian team to a world championship. He also teaches at the Pennington School in Pennington, NJ, and owns a lacrosse company and club team known as True North Lacrosse Company.[1]
