Christian Cook (b. June 3, 1975 in Denver, CO) is a profeesional lacrosse. He currently plays for the Baltimore Bayhawks in Major League Lacrosse as a defenseman.
Cook was a standout college player for Princeton University. In his senior season with the Tigers he won the William C. Schmeisser Award as the NCAA Division I top Defenseman of the year. He helped the Tigers win three straight NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships from 1996 to 1998.
Cook began playing in the MLL in its inagural 2001 season with New Jersey Pride and he played in the 2001 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game. In 2002 he won Defensive Player of the Year honors. [1]
Cook did not play in 2003. He returned to New Jersey in 2004 and was traded mid-season to the Baltimore Bayhawks for second round draft pick. In 2005, he was a member of the 2005 Bayhawks Major League Lacrosse Champion Steinfeld Cup team.
Cook played for the 2006 U.S. Men's National Team in World Lacrosse Championship [2]
