Christian Jacobs

Christian Richards Jacobs (born January 11, 1972 in Rexburg, Idaho), known by the stage name The MC Bat Commander or MCBC for short, has been the lead singer of The Aquabats since the band formed in 1994.
As a child, he played the role of Joey Stivic (son of Mike and Gloria Stivic from All in the Family) in the short-lived sitcom Gloria. As of 2007, he is working on a children's television series called Yo Gabba Gabba!.
He is married and has three children.

- For his role in The Aquabats he draws a mustache on his upper lip and blacks out his front teeth. He also performs various stunts on stage, including backflips.
- Before he was a member of The Aquabats, he acted in various movies, including; Pretty in Pink and Gleaming The Cube and TV shows including Married... with Children, Roseanne, and Gloria. He was nominated for a Best Young Actor in a New Television Series Young Artist Award for his role in Gloria.
- He did the voice of the character Cavin in the cartoon Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears, along with other voice actors.
- His middle name is Richards, which is also his mother's maiden name.
- He is the great-grandson of prominent Mormon leader LeGrand Richards.
- He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two-year mission in Japan.
- He currently lives in Huntington Beach, California with his wife and three kids.
