Christian Party (1930s)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Christian Party is the name of a Fascist political party founded by William Dudley Pelley in the 1930s. The party might be considered to be the political wing of Pelley's paramilitary organisation, the Silver Legion. It ran with Pelley as its candidate for the 1936 presidential campaign, but was quickly dissolved after the American entry into the Second World War.
Today, another party, with ties to the Christian Identity movement, is called the Christian Party.
